Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Traigger ("Traigger", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the Traigger website, applications and services (the "Service"). We aim to collect as little as possible and to be clear about what we do.

1. Who we are

Traigger is an AI prompt-engineering companion that helps you turn rough ideas into precise prompts. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at privacy@traigger.com.

2. Data we collect

Account data: your first and last name, email address, an encrypted (hashed) password, your date of birth for age eligibility, and your verification status. Content you create: the prompts you enter and the refined prompts you choose to save to your account, together with your preferences (such as email notifications and auto-save). Usage and analytics data: with your consent, we collect anonymous information about how you use the refinement flow (such as steps taken, timings and offers shown) and a randomly generated anonymous identifier. Technical data: basic information your device and browser send automatically, such as IP address and log data, used to keep the Service secure and running.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to: create and secure your account; provide the Service (generate refinement questions, optimise and save your prompts); remember your preferences; communicate with you about your account (such as verification and password-reset emails); understand and improve the Service; and protect against fraud, abuse and security threats.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service and your account); your consent (for optional analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests (to keep the Service secure and to improve it); and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Prompts and AI processing

To generate refinement questions and optimise your prompts, the text you submit is sent to trusted third-party AI providers (OpenAI and Google) strictly to perform that task and return a result to you. Under our agreements with these providers, your prompt content is not used to train their models. We do not sell your prompts, and we do not use them to train third-party models. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your prompts.

6. Service providers we share data with

We share the minimum data necessary with providers who process it on our behalf: • OpenAI and Google — AI processing of prompt text to generate refinement questions and optimisations. • Amazon Web Services (SES) — sending transactional emails (verification, password reset). • Render — hosting our application and database. These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage. Essential storage keeps you signed in and remembers your consent choice and that you accepted our terms — it is always active because the Service cannot run without it. With your consent, we also use analytics storage (including a randomly generated anonymous identifier) to understand how the refinement flow is used. You choose your preferences in the consent banner shown when you first use the app; if you decline analytics, no analytics identifier is created and any existing one is removed.

8. Data retention

We keep your account data and saved prompts for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your account and saved prompts; anonymous analytics records are retained but are de-linked from you. We may keep limited information where necessary to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can delete your account and saved prompts yourself at any time from Settings. To exercise any other right, contact us at privacy@traigger.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

10. Security

We protect your data with measures such as password hashing (bcrypt), signed session tokens, encryption of data in transit (HTTPS), and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.

11. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.

12. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 16 (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, if higher). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.

14. Contact
